Comfort and Mercy

As I watched the Naval Hospital Ships “COMFORT AND MERCY” dock on the two coastal borders of the United States my heart was stirred at such a prophetic picture of what the Father is doing in this hour.  

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of MERCIES, and the God of all COMFORT; who comforts us all in our troubles.” 

Just as these troubling times for our nation has brought these Naval ships to our help... God your Father has sent “COMFORT AND MERCY” to you! Comfort what a powerful word and even more in definition it’s the Greek word “parakaleo” meaning to call to one’s side.  Comfort is so much more than a feeling. It is literally the person and presence of Jesus coming beside you walking with you. I cannot think of a greater comfort than to think that I am not in this alone but GOD HIMSELF is walking beside me through this time of trouble. I am quarantine with my HEAVENLY FATHER and all the resources of Heaven. Think about… If God be for me who and what can be against me!

The disciples during their time of Quarantine for fear of the Jews in John 20:19 “..the doors were SHUT where the disciples assembled for FEAR of the Jews, Jesus came in stood in the midst, and said unto them, PEACE BE UNTO YOU”! Fear and closed doors cannot stop the COMFORT and MERCY of God to stand in the midst of your home.  Jesus is walking through closed doors reaching out HIS Hand and bringing PEACE TO YOU! EXPECT A FRESH ENCOUNTER TODAY!
